amy and i both love, love, love this session. mainly because of izzy.
she is just one of those easy-going, undeniably beautiful, carefree spirits. and she was completely natural + totally brilliant in front of the camera. throw in our randomly abandoned, broken-down warehouse location…and the mix was heavenly. the light, the crumbling brick + the rusting doors were out-of-this world!! did i forget to mention this session was a photographer’s dream??
as it turns out, izzy is also a blossoming artist and fellow photography junkie (+ everyone knows we love to talk shop anytime, anyplace). only weeks before her very first art showing in Raleigh, this session represented a turning point in her life. there is a bold new world at her doorstep + the future holds endless possibilities.
i guess that’s the crazy, hard-to-explain part about being a senior. you’re crossing over from one familiar place into the unknown. you look back, you look forward, you try to gain perspective. then you just leap forward + hold on tight!!
it’s definitely not everyday you meet such a driven, creative, independent spirit…maybe that’s what we love best about izzy? or maybe it’s her killer hair? either way, this girl is going places.
there is also another BIG congratulations in order here, you see, izzy just adopted her very own kitty cat, which is a milestone all of it’s own!!!
