meet the gantt family: silly, spontaneous and completely adorable. hands down, they are one of the most spirited + connected families….such a joy to photograph.
this first shot of Turner and Finley reminded us of an old saying that goes something like this ” being a big brother is better than being a superhero”.(Turner, we happen to think you’re a pretty awesome big brother, wink wink)
He and Finley are seriously TOO cute for words. watching them brought back childhood memories for both amy and i, growing up with brothers and developing a life-long friendship is something remarkable. we have no doubt that these two will be the best-of-friends for quite some time.
{now before you check out the whole session, we have a few things to explain:}
first up, the attack of the geese. here we are, thinking that it would be cute to feed the ducks, right? well our plan didn’t account for the complete entourage of geese that seemed to appear out of nowhere!! before we knew it, they were everywhere…it was pure craziness. note to self: beware, geese travel in large numbers and aren’t afraid of much.
next, the fountain. now, we all know it’s been HOT lately. like really, really hot. we were all pretty close to melting. never fear, we had a plan. mom and i had already talked about letting the kids play in the fountain at North Hills, kind of a treat saved for the end. once we reassured the kids it was completely fine, they went right in and started splashing around. what a scene!!! (thank goodness, mall security was nowhere in sight)
